We would strongly advise not to undertake any roofing work yourself, including gutter cleaning and repairs. Roofing specialist are trained to work at height and have all the safety protocols in place to do so, along with all appropriate training. Doing work yourself could result in furthering the problem or worst of all cause injury to yourself.
We would advise having these looked at and ideally replaced as soon as possible, to minimise any water leak and damage to the sub-structure.
Not necessarily. It will depend on the type of work required as well as the height and pitch of the roof being worked on. Generally, if the area is unsafe for us to use our own equipment, we will need to use scaffolding.
